The artwork is a digital collage of original photographs shot by me in Marrakech in 2011.

It is part of a photographic project aimed at telling places and sensations. Sometimes the storytelling is about symbolic places, other times about locations that just leave you breathless.

This piece is about architecture and colors.

In Marrakech I fell in love with Moroccan architecture. I have always taken photos paying particular attention to the geometric composition of the frame and the feeling of being in a place where geometric shapes have modelled buildings has been incredible. Like a little boy in a candy shop. Colors were everywhere and the air was vibrant.  

This artwork received an HONORABLE MENTION in the CONTEMPORARY EXPRESSIONS AWARD 2022 and IPA 2022.
