The artwork is a digital collage of original photographs shot by Franco Smith in Portugal in 2020.

It is part of a photographic project aimed at telling places and sensations. Sometimes the storytelling is about symbolic places, other times about locations that just leave you breathless.

This piece is about imagination and myth.

The first time I saw Sandeman’s draw I tought was a superhero. I was too young to understand it was a Porto wine brand and for several time I continued to daydream about this mythical figure. So I inserted my fairy tale in the mystical charm of the Portuguese architecture.
